24 Hour Comics Day | Saturday, October 5–Sunday, October 6 | noon–noon | Kaboom Test Labs (Westside) | 10250 Cottonwood Park Road, Suite E | Albuquerque, NM 87114

Accept the challenge! Be a part of 24 Hour Comics Day 2013. Join 7000 BC and make a 24-page comic book in 24 consecutive hours. No experience or special skills needed — this free creative exercise is open to everyone.

Test your stamina and learn what you're capable of, along with thousands of artists of all skill levels from around the globe. Albuquerque has consistently been one of the largest gatherings for this international event. See photos from past years here and here.

This year, we are pleased to be at Kaboom Test Labs westside location in Albuquerque, at 10250 Cottonwood Park NW, Suite E, in Albuquerque. (Be aware that Googlemaps sometimes gets confused by this address. If it's not showing you a location southeast of 528 (Coors Bypass) and Ellison, let us know and we'll help you out.) A huge thank you to Gene and the crew at Kaboom for having us!

We'll provide some fuel to keep you going, including coffee from Winning Coffee and food courtesy of Jason's Deli, Ben Girven, and more. We'll also be giving away some goodies during the event from Wonderfunders, Typod Mary, Oops I Just Arted, Belmondo Tomato, Lobo Comics and Anime, Twin Suns, and Big Adventure Comics in Santa Fe.

If you plan on participating, please send an email so we can get a count of participants and send you further information.

This event is open to all ages (with guardian's permission for minors). Younger children will require a parent or guardian to accompany them. As always, 7000 BC President Chuck Larntz will be live blogging the entire event!

Bring your papers and pens and join us at New Mexico's only 24 Hour Comics Day location in 2013!
