7000 BC will hold its monthly meeting at Collected Works Bookstore, a landmark independent bookshop and coffeehouse in Santa Fe.

Join us for an afternoon of socializing, planning, talking about — and maybe even making — comics. We're going to be assembling a schedule of conventions to exhibit at next year, so if you've got ideas and/or are willing to travel, be sure to be there.

All interested in independent comics are welcome; send an email with any questions. Parking and directions here.

We'll probably move on to Flying Star at the Railyard for food and visiting after.

A last minute post here. 7000 BC member Clay Sheff will have artwork for sale at the 2011 Steve White Folk Farm Gift Show. Art, music, and Santa will be there from 2:00 - 2:30. Come check out Clay's work as well as the work of many others, including Steve White's famous specialty Pez dispensers and the music of Frank McCulloch.
